The race for Burlington City Council is officially set. Nominations closed at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, with 30 candidates stepping up to compete for seven seats across the city's six wards.
The final count shows 25 candidates running in six wards for council seats, with the remaining five candidates vying for other public offices. It's a crowded field — and Burlington voters will have plenty of choices to sort through before election day.
