Halton Police Seek Suspect After BMO Branch Robbery on Brant Street

Halton Regional Police are looking for a male suspect following a robbery at the Bank of Montreal on Brant Street in Burlington on Wednesday, August 20. According to police, the incident happened at approximately 5:40 p.m. at the BMO branch located at 519 Brant St. A lone male entered the bank, jumped the counter, and grabbed rolls of coin and cash from accessible drawers before fleeing through a rear exit into a dark-coloured sedan. BMO staff and at least one customer were inside the branch at the time. Police confirmed no weapons were seen or indicated, and no one was physically injured.
